Naturally Simple

Spirituality beyond religious affiliation is now a new frontier in health. It seems no matter how much attention we give to our physical and mental health, if we are spiritually unhealthy we will still become ill.

Real spiritual health is conceivably essential and it isn’t based on airy-fairy ideas, blind faith or constantly changing scientific facts. It’s living naturally with true perceptions and beliefs. It is a concept that is simple and logical and it naturally affects the way we all feel, which makes it infallible.

As children, we have an innate understanding of our connection to a natural source of intelligence and truth but as we grow, we are taught to ignore our natural inner voice and listen only to fallible human authorities beginning with our carers. This may sometimes be necessary to survive childhood, but once we become adults we no longer need to live conditionally. It’s not what happens to us or what we are told that limits or affects us but the false meanings and beliefs we choose to take from it and continue to hang onto throughout our adult lives. It’s not possible for any of us to have a real connection or a healthy relationship with ourselves, with each other or the world around us unless we have a true perception of who we are, and who and what we are relating to.

Our feelings are the connection we all have to a natural, universal law of reality and truth.

After making this spiritual connection, you may look back over your own life and realise that every experience you’ve had, has manifested according to what you believed and that the unpleasant and painful experiences manifested because you believed so many things about yourself, others and the world around you that just weren’t true. You subconsciously created everything in your life to justify the beliefs you had. This realisation will open your eyes to another dimension beyond the physical and you will see that it is possible to be happy in any situation regardless of any external circumstances, and you will learn to value every amazing experience you’ve had.

It doesn’t matter what religious affiliation you have or what culture or background you come from, all human beings have perceptions and beliefs – some are true and some are false. Many indigenous people learn this from the natural world they live in. Unfortunately in our society, we have become more and more removed from our natural environment.

Every religious or philosophical book or document is valuable as are many other writings. Everything written or spoken is either divinely inspired or it isn’t; our interpretation of it will either align with the truth or it won’t and how we feel will tell us how much more we need to understand.

Believing something is true when it isn’t, or believing something isn’t true when it is, will make anyone feel uncomfortable. It’s nature’s way of letting us all know so we aren’t harmful to ourselves, others or our environment. It’s a concept that is simple, logical and foolproof. The only way anyone can change their life is by changing what they believe.
